In October 2022, I submitted an application for the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program. I'm proud to say that in May 2023 I was chosen as a NSF Graduate Research Fellow! I plan to use the funding to pursue a PhD at CSU working on masu salmon in Japan, so stay tuned...

Many hours of hard work, cups of coffee, and sets of eyes went into crafting my personal statement and research proposal. I wouldn't have been successful without my support network, so I have started a page of NSF GRFP resources for future applicants to use. Tributary Tribune

Each program year, every district in WSP releases an issue of the Tributary Tribune newsletter. As a part of our district C "Wilderness Needs Water" issue, I wrote an article titled "An Intimate Landscape" and published two of my poems along with it.
